After Hours Auto Glass is looking for a Mobile Auto Glass Technician to join our family! This position is responsible for quality, precision installation of auto glass and for providing the Service You Can Trust to our customers. Responsibilities - Install auto glass and other related products on a mobile basis
- Follow FMVSS / ANSI approved methods for auto glass installation, using the proper tools and techniques to ensure safe ,efficient and quality installation service for After Hours Auto Glass customers
- Ensure that all equipment, materials, and areas of operation conform to health and safety regulations and requirements
- Maintains clean work environment.
- Maintain working knowledge of Mobile Management Technology and utilizes MMT system to track installations and to communicate with corporate office, management, customers, or other work related individuals
- Remain available for contact during working hours
- Utilize MMT functions to accurately quote prices for customers and invoicing
- Maintains accurate and complete work records
- Ensure required paperwork is completed and turned in to the appropriate person or location
- Maintains an acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy
- May perform auto glass repairs
| Requirements | Requirements - Two to Three years of auto glass experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge of the FMVSS/ANSI Auto glass installation techniques and exceptional customer service
- Knowledge of safe driving practices; must have valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift and carry large, heavy (up to 75 lbs.) objects
- Ability to operate various hand and power tools and equipment and safely operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to operate a personal computer and job related software
- Ability to operate handheld Blackberry or similar device
- Ability to Work in a fast-paced environment
- Skill in providing World Class customer service
- Skill in Verbal communications and effective listening
- Skill in planning and organizing work
- Must have Own Van or Truck
- Must have own laptop or smart phone device ( Iphone, Blackberry or Android) ( Contract employees supply own phones, we supply software and reimburse for data useage)
- Must have own tools
